A secure home for your digital signature
The HyperPKI ePass 2003 Auto (HYP2003) is a USB smart card token for public key infrastructure (PKI). Use it to store digital signature certificates, sign documents and filings, encrypt and decrypt files and emails, and log in to VPNs.
-
FIPS 140-3 Level 3
Private keys are generated, stored and used inside the token's security module, so they can't be copied off it.

Secure chip
A 32-bit smart card chip, the kind used in bank cards, runs its own operating system. Signing, encryption and decryption all happen inside the chip.
-
Plug and play
On Windows the token installs its own driver the first time you plug it in, so there's no CD. Applications reach it through the standard PKCS#11 library.
-
Drivers for macOS and Linux
Drivers for macOS and Linux, plus the unlock and admin tools, are on our download page.

Why FIPS 140-3 validation matters
FIPS 140-3 is the current US government standard for cryptographic modules. It replaced FIPS 140-2, whose certificates have now moved to NIST's historical list. It covers ports and interfaces, authentication, physical security, key management and resistance to attack, at four increasing levels. Level 3 adds tamper resistance and identity-based authentication.
Validated products go through independent laboratory testing. This token's module is NIST certificate #5255, active until January 2031.
